DescriptionAccording to an official industry report by the Ministry of Digital Media, the number of titles of translated books published in Russia fell to 15,000, showing a 24% drop compared to 2022. Circulation of such titles has also fallen by a third due to the departure of major Western authors and the expiration of license contracts. Domestic publishers are forced to switch to Russian authors and Asian markets.
